Hello!
I am Ruocheng Zhai (翟若成), a graduate student at the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the Pennsylvania State University. I am interested in simulations related to binary neutron star mergers (BNSMs). I have worked on the composition mixing in their ejecta to study its impact on the nucleosynthesis and kilonova light curves. Currently, I am testing a new equation of state (EoS) and preparing for a large simulation with 1000 BNSMs to research their statistical properties.
I completed my B.S. degree at the Department of Physics, Tsinghua University.
